Reinfections
#1
Some of you may remember that I had a relative that got Covid in August 2020?  She has it again in June 2021, 10 months later.  She did not get a vaccination.

As I've referenced before, a Denmark study reported an effectiveness against reinfection of 80% by a 6-month prior infection.
Another study found 82%.

Fortunately, her parents have mRNA vaccinations (91% effective).  Unfortunately, her kids are too young to be vaccinated.  They could be vectors to expose their grandparents to COVID.  91% is not 100%

As a reminder, the CDC recommends the vaccine for those that previously had COVID (once they are well).
