Antibodies of the Moderna vaccine at 6 months
#1
NEJM has correspondence  "Antibody Persistence through 6 Months after the Second Dose of mRNA-1273 Vaccine for Covid-19" (dated 6 Apr 2021).

Quote:Although the antibody titers and assays that best correlate with vaccine efficacy are not currently known, antibodies that were elicited by mRNA-1273 persisted through 6 months after the second dose, as detected by three distinct serologic assays.

I do not feel competent to summarize the findings further.

THanks for posting.   I think we will also be interested as longer-term studies roll in, and more news on T-cells, B-cells, and other elements of the immune system.

And as spring proceeds I will be curious for how plans for "boosters" take shape

not deep on the numbers and statistics, but related in terms of topic of waning and thus need for boosters or annual shots.   https://www.cnbc.com/2021/04/21/scientis...wanes.html
