Johnson & Johnson submit vaccine to FDA - M_T - 02-05-2021 Johnson & Johnson submitted their request for an EUA to the FDA yesterday.  I haven't yet found the data they submitted, but I'm sure it will be available soon. Press Release Quote:Vaccine Candidate 72% Effective in the US and 66% Effective Overall at Preventing Moderate to Severe COVID-19, 28 Days after Vaccination I also note that back in October they indicated they were going to start trials on 12-18yo.  That's good as maybe that will be ready to get permission for that. The ACIP's next meeting is scheduled Feb. 24-25. RE: Johnson & Johnson submit vaccine to CDC - Hurlburt88 - 02-05-2021 I believe I read that the approval committee will meet on FEb 26 for J&J EAU.  I do continue to worry that perfection is getting in the way of effectiveness on these approvals. And not only on this vaccine, but also the Astra Zeneca/Oxford. |
