Decision on vaccines for young children coming soon - M_T - 02-10-2022 The FDA group that decides about vaccines is due to meet on Feb. 15 to discuss Pfizer's proposed vaccines for those 6-months old to 5 years old. Â From what I see, the approval is not a slam dunk. Â If approved, the US is intending to get 10M doses of the vaccine to those that would administer shots (pharmacies, etc.) by Monday, Feb. 21. Â (Pharmacies can only give doses to 4+. Â Younger children will have to get it from a pediatrician.)
